Solsol domilado solresol!

Welcome to my Solresol blog!

What is Solresol? Solresol is a constructed language created by François Sudre, introduced in the book Langue musicale universelle in 1866, although possibly conceived of as early as the 1820s. The only real info about the language available online is Boleslas Gajweski's grammar of Solresol, which can be found in both French and English. The language uses the traditional musical notes - do, re, mi, fa, sol, la and si - to create all its words. Yes, that's right, all the words, all 2660 of them, are composed of these seven syllables.

More to come.
